How do I know if I have the right level?
This course is for advanced students.
How do you know if that’s you?
- Take the placement test if your result is B2 or C1, this course is perfect for you.
- Another way: if you’ve already studied the subjunctive. You don’t need to be a subjunctive expert to join, but you should recognise it in a text or conversation.
In addition, there is an in-house placement test to confirm your level.

Do you have any incentives if I refer a friend?
What if I need to cancel my membership?
This is a 3-month minimum membership. You can stop your membership whenever you want.
For example:
You want to stop your course in July, you are asked to stop your membership on 20 of June the month. You’ll be able to access your course until the end of the month.
🌈You can join when you want and your first class will be on the 1st Tuesday of the following month.
For example:
If you join on 22 of April, your first class is on 4 of May.
How much should I study between classes?
In all my courses, I recommend at least one hour of independent study in addition to class time.
For every hour of class, I suggest one hour of review and practice.
Reviewing outside of class is essential because it allows you to lock in what we’ve covered during the lesson.
Your brain needs repetition. A lot of repetition.
What if I have grammar questions?
Don’t worry ! Even though this is a conversation course, if you have an urgent grammar question, it will be addressed.
From time to time, I’ll give grammar explanations or reminders during class if needed.
That’s actually one of the advantages of conversation classes: they help you reinforce grammar long-term for good.
Can I change groups or schedules?
Yes, within reason.
Le Café Français is a conversation course with real team spirit and genuine connections and friendships between students.
That’s why when you enroll, you choose a fixed group and time slot.
However, if your availability changes (travel, work, etc.), you can switch groups for at least one week and you get one change per month.
I know I won’t be able to attend every class. Is that a problem?
Not at all.
I created Le Café Français for busy people like you and me.
That’s why it’s only once a week.
Let’s be honest, life happens, and you might miss a class or two. That’s okay.
All materials will be waiting for you in your member space.
Even if you can’t join live, you’ll know exactly what topics were covered, and you’ll never feel “behind.”
If I have a special request or need, can we work on it in class?
Absolutely!
Let’s say you have a job interview coming up we could practice it together during class.
I help you prepare your French-related projects as a team.
If it’s something that works in a group setting, it’s always welcome.
However, this isn’t a private class, so if you need highly personalised attention, private lessons are the best option.
How long does the course last?
Le Café Français is a minimum 3-month conversation course, renewable as a subscription you can stop anytime.
You can stop after 3 months or continue if you want to go further.
Some students have been in the course for 3 years.
Yasmine, this is a big investment. I can’t afford it right now.
Learning French and getting lasting results has a cost.
It takes a minimum of 2 years of consistent study to speak fluently.
Doing it for free, without structure or a teacher, can take double or triple the time not to mention the errors you risk fossilising, which will cost you more in the long run.
Learning French entirely alone is an urban legend except for polyglots.
So I’ll ask you this: if today isn’t the right time, when will it be? Will there really be a better moment?
